• What Lies Ahead

   

  I saw this small segment on the local news lastnight on how there has been a sudden growth in the psychic business. Many more people are going to fortune tellers, palm readers, and other "mediums" to have their futures forecasted. The same amount of people, apparently, are trying to become psychics themselves as more and more attend classes and seminars on "tapping into your psychic potential".

  We like to think that we can predict the future; it gives us the illusion of control over our chaotic life--in this chaotic world. I don't think you can ever know what lies ahead. The trick is to not fear uncertainty.
